Heal and thrive in a comfortable, homely, and relaxing space at peaceNtranquillity, a psychology clinic located in Alfred Cove, WA.  It is across the road from the Swan River, and provides both in-person and phone/video psychology sessions. You are invited to attend therapy in-person to enjoy the warm and inviting therapy room which has a small sensory playground that contains tactile, deep pressure, visual, fidget, and movement stimulation to provide a safe place to relax, focus on healing, and manage emotions. There is fresh air from a fan-forced air-intake system, and a powerful air purifier that provides fragrant free air and removes allergens and viruses.
In August 2024, peaceNtranquillity added a new location within the premise of Park Medical Group Waterford to ease travel for those who live east of Kwinana Freeway.

At peaceNtranquillity, you’ll meet Cheong Wong, a Clinical Psychologist who began his journey in 2016 when he completed his bachelor's degree in psychology. Cheong brings a wealth of knowledge from diverse settings, including 4 private practices, 2 NDIS organisations (Rocky Bay & St Jude's Disability Services), and a youth mental health hub (GP Down South). Cheong is warm, gentle, caring, and non-judgemental. His therapy sessions are LGBTIQ+ friendly.

Therapy

Cheong is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful therapy technique for the treatment of trauma and anxiety. Cheong also uses various other therapy modalities to suit client needs such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Client-Centred Therapy, and positive behaviour support.
Cheong sees clients aged 16 and above. He has a specific interest in working with people who have experienced trauma and relationship conflicts.
